POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the day-to day recruiting functions for the Sales and Marketing Teams at their respective site(s). The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, screen, set up interviews, and make job offers for all sales and marketing positions at their designated location(s). This position provides ongoing communication and collaboration with all hiring managers regarding the recruitment process within legal and company policies. The Talent Acquisition Specialist also collaborates with the Director and VP of Talent Acquisition to analyze reports and trends, and to also develop and execute agreed upon recruiting strategies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS

  • Develops positive and collaborative partnership with the sales and marketing management teams to build a robust pipeline of talented professionals for a variety of positions for Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
  • Manages people processes for assigned clientele (annual appraisal process, annual employee engagement survey, succession planning exercises, tailored training, etc.).
  • Responsible for integrating Talent Acquisition/HR services, solutions and initiatives to business objectives.
  • Maintain a positive employment environment by implementing all HR programs/processes accurately and timely, ensuring consistency and fairness. Ensure consistency in the application and enforcement of policies and procedures and the compliance with all government regulations (EEO, INS, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, OSHA, etc.) and all Federal and State employment laws. Notifies and escalates any corporate risk and proactively manages the mitigation of risk that is specifically in regards to Human Resources and Employment while coordinating with upper management and legal counsel.
  • Responsible for assessing and identifying talent for succession planning and assists in establishing individual action plans for future development. Partner with business leaders to develop plans and strategies to drive and improve performance management, in an effort to align compensation to strategic goals and objectives.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of ongoing management and non-management training and development programs on topics such as acceptable employment practices, interview guidelines, selection processes, onboarding and retention.
  • Accountable to accomplish objectives, policies, and defined recruiting goals as defined by the Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Aggressively recruit for the best qualified candidates from a variety of sources, managing the selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, screening and recommending the best final candidates, while filling the staffing needs within a defined timeline.
  • Source and screen resumes for positions in Sales, Marketing, and Training. Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers to schedule interviews.
  • Ensure timely communications with all candidates and hiring managers upfront and after the interview.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in our recruiting database. Leverage on-line recruiting resources and In-House Applicant Tracking System to identify and recruit the best candidates.
  • Use social media and web to search for qualified candidates. Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in recruiting practices.
  • Promote Holiday Inn Club Vacations at a variety of functions such as Career Events, Real Estate Schools, College Timeshare/Sales classes and Sales Organizations/Events. Build professional networks to build a pipeline of qualified candidates.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of one year of face to face Timeshare Sales or Timeshare Training related experience.
  • Must have a strong ability to effectively overcome objections using skillful persuasion and influence.
  • Demonstrate high energy, self-motivation and initiative to achieve performance goals.
  • Possess pinnacle standards of professional excellence as a Brand Ambassador of Holiday Inn Club Vacations.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, and oral communications skills.
  • Shows eagerness and capacity to learn and understand HR policies, procedures, as well as Federal & State regulations and background in staffing, employee relations, strategic planning, and training & development.
  • Willingness to travel based on business needs.
