The objective of the Sales Support Representative is to provide world-class customer service for commercial field sales representatives and commercial accounts to increase sales and profits for BUSA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing administrative duties for the commercial division, openly communicating with customers and field representatives; taking, creating and processing orders for BUSA commercial accounts; paperwork processing: stimulating sales through verbal and written communication; and providing qualitative and quantitative support for management. Outbound sales: active engage specific commercial accounts to solicit orders and promote sales of Beretta products. Be integral part of sales promotions by contacting targeted commercial accounts to solicit orders.


Timely and accurate processing of orders and requests from sales reps and accounts

Receive, proof, and enter incoming orders for pricing, discounts and terms.

Process all documents to record required sales information.

Setup and maintain record keeping in regards to BUSA address book in E1.

Setup address for all new customers and maintain program level codes in the system.

Manage, process and maintain all paperwork for new and current commercial account agreements. Operate computer terminal to input orders and review orders for errors or omissions.

Arrange for allocation of product according to fixed shipment schedules and provide assistance if needed.

Stimulate sales by highlighting marketable product qualities by calling on regular or prospective customers to solicit orders or suggesting alternative products to meet customers’ satisfaction when desired product is not available.

Respond to telephone, mail, email, and fax inquires involving products, services and programs.

Answer all customer’s requests questions concerning product by telephone or mail within 24 hours of request.

Evaluate product flow and move into the market by coordinating with the sales representatives in the field.


Troubleshoot at various departments such as warehouse, shipping, accounting and production to meet daily shipment goals and resolve sales representatives and customer’s needs.

Assists field reps with customer-facing sales planning objectives.

Provide sales information and sales history to required parties by obtaining data from several sources. Provide quantitative sales support for salesforce and management update and analyze sales and budget reports for accounts within their defined commercial channel.

Administrate return merchandise authorization system with the cooperation of receiving and warehouse. Communicate directly with all accounts to obtain materials necessary to keep account current with BUSA.

Implement other projects as requested by management.

May promote products at trade shows and conferences by attending as a representative for BUSA. Perform other duties as assigned.

Actively engage sales channels to solicit new business and secure orders

Job is performed in a professional group office environment.

Utilization of PC and main frame computer system.


Knowledge of firearms preferred.

Knowledge of software applications required.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles preferred.

Excellent communication skills; oral and written.

Ability to work independently and investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.

Problem solving skills required.
