Sales Representative Position

Job Summary:

The role of a Bio Medical Sales Representative is 90% inside sales, 10% outside sales person who creates revenue by selling biomedical equipment and services to hospitals, clinics, and surgery centers within an assigned territory. Sales Representative create long-term business partnerships between USOC Medical and the hospitals in his or her territory. This is done through both inside sales phone calls as well as on-site meetings at the biomedical offices in hospitals and at networking events such as trade shows or local society functions. The job encourages and requires the Sales Representative to expand USOC Medical’s client base through calling on and converting leads to accounts and growing existing accounts by identifying additional needs. The role requires a self-motivated individual with problem solving skills, a competitive nature and a dynamic personality.

Job Tasks:

  • Call 60 – 80 company generated leads and or accounts daily
  • Cross sell/maintain/manage existing customers
  • Quote products
  • Gain detailed knowledge about the company’s products and services
  • Ability to assess customer needs though profiling questions
  • Follow-up and follow-through in all areas of business
  • Attend expositions and trade shows nationwide
  • Meet onsite with local accounts to build relationships and increase sales
  • Plan and execute hospital visits in states across the country
  • Meet sales metrics and follow a training and development schedule

Job Requirements:

  • Account Management or other relevant sales experience
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and multi task
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
