JOB DESCRIPTION:

As part of five Oakland County Club Pilates studios, we are the largest Pilates provider in the state of Michigan. Founded in 2007, Club Pilates is the nation’s largest and fastest-growing Pilates franchise with locations in 33 states and 2 countries. Class formats target a wide range of clients needs from young to more senior and beginner to advanced. Club Pilates is the first company to create a 500-hour Teacher Training Program designed to thoroughly and safely teach group Pilates apparatus classes along with TRX, Triggerpoint, and Barre. Club Pilates has already sold more than 800 territories throughout the United States and Canada. With over 3,785 certified Pilates instructors, Club Pilates provides a current annual rate of over 7 million workouts to tens of thousands of members. POSITION:
Maintain monthly personal sales production to achieve a minimum goal of 30 New Members per month and a stretch goal of 50 New Members per month with the end goal being 450 Members per studio. Oversee all Studio functionality and provide assistance to the Vice President, General Manager and Owner.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Self-starter that portrays an owner’s mentality to grow a new business.
  • 2+ years of fitness and/or retail sales management experience.
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Associates in Sales.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner.
  • Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email.
  • Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment.
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.
  • An affinity and passion for fitness.
  • Solid writing and grammar skills.
  • Highly organized, proficient in data management, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public.
  • Proficiency with computers and studio software.

DUTIES

  • Actively participate in grassroots networking/community-sponsored events and studio promotions, as well as regular contacts with the business community to promote Club Pilates and generate prospects.
  • Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
  • Implement sales process to schedule prospects into Intro class
  • Achieve Daily Activities Goals between 100 – 125 of phone, text, email, and face-to-face prospects to encourage them to consider the benefits that come with Club Pilates Membership
  • Help drive goals and objectives that support consistently being in the Top 10 Performing Club Pilates Monthly Studio Rankings
  • Establish peer relationships with other Top 5 performing Club Pilates Franchises
  • Drive Membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts to accelerate studio membership growth to 450 Members
  • Manage staff schedule
  • Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
  • Supervise Sales Associates
  • Proficiency in ClubReady, to include revenue reports, attendance reports, etc.
  • Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Club Pilates Studio
  • Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures
  • Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
  • Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
  • Book quality appointments to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales quotas
  • Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills
  • Follow up on sales leads and build a pipeline of prospective New Members
  • Provide exceptional and passionate levels of customer service to existing and prospective members via face-to-face, phone and email interfaces
  • Actively participate in grassroots community-sponsored events and other outside opportunities to promote our club as well as regular contacts with the business community
  • Network within the fitness industry and other outside industries/businesses to drive recognition and interest in our Club Pilates studios
  • Other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
