Sales Executive – IT Solutions

Current Technologies is looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Executive for our growing sales team. This is a hunter role responsible for closing new IT Solutions business. This position requires experience in selling technical solutions and services.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to prospect for new business as well as build and manage strong client relationships
  • Proactively perform lead generation, including cold calls and follow-ups
  • Conduct discovery meetings with prospects to gain an understanding of the business goals, issues and needs
  • Collaborate with the Current Technologies team to develop quality and cost-effective solutions
  • A commitment to achieving sales targets
  • Summarize lead generation/business development activities and status at weekly sales meetings
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and ensure a strong customer satisfaction with our solutions

Qualifications

  • Previous account development experience and successful track record, preferably 4+ years, preferably in IT Solution Sales
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
  • Proactive, driven, independent but a strong team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and proof of vehicle insurance. This position requires frequent visits to customer sites in and around the Chicago suburbs and Chicago.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
