Looking for a reliable full-time customer service/sales associate for a medical supply store located in the Houston Heights area.

Duties Include:

  • Assisting and greeting customers
  • Cashier duties
  • Basic computer use
  • Answering incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Assisting in reordering store inventory
  • Restocking/assembling store inventory
  • Assisting in keeping store and work areas clean
  • Following procedures that are laid out for staff
  • Being PATIENT, KIND, ENERGETIC,and having a SALESmentality is a must


  • Past customer service/retail experience preferred
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Willing to learn and be educated about medical supplies
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Ability to lift (up to 40 lbs.)
  • Comfortable interacting with customers
  • Patient (will be interacting with mostly elderly customers)
  • Has a reliable form of transportation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proper phone etiquette
  • Medical experience is a plus but not necessary
  • Someone looking for long-term employment and a QUICK LEARNER

Store Info:

  • Mon-Fri (9am-6pm)
  • Sat (10am-5pm)
  • Sunday Closed
  • Hiree will have Sunday & Monday Off
  • The store currently has 1 part-time employee and 1 owner who will work with you

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Offering 40 hours per week (Pay is Bi-Weekly)
  • Starting at $13/hour (periodic raises based on performance)
  • Full-time employees start with 3 days Paid Time-Off (this can increase as hiree begins to show signs of confidence and increased performance)
  • Staff is very friendly/laid back. We do not micro-manage as long as the required work is being done.


  • Hiree will be required to learn and train quickly so that they can eventually handle store hours by themselves if needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $13.00 /hour


  • Sales: 1 year (Required)
  • Medical Terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
