Nightingale Veterinary Partners is seeking a finance professional to join our team as a full-time Manager of Finance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess exceptional organizational skills and thrive in a collaborative work environment.

Nightingale and its partners acquire and operate veterinary hospitals in the greater New York area. Nightingale is a small, entrepreneurial company based in midtown Manhattan. We are seeking to hire a member of the core team who is responsible for the financial aspects of the business.

Reports To

Chief Executive Officer

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for tracking the finances of Nightingale and its family of veterinary clinics.
  • Maintain monthly and quarterly financials.
  • Liaise with Nightingale’s accounting firm.
  • Organize and maintain all corporate and financial records.
  • Facilitate the integration of new veterinary hospitals into Nightingale’s platform.
  • Assist in the assessment of new investment opportunities.
  • Serve as core member of the Nightingale team, assisting with overall company strategy and key business initiatives.

Key Characteristics

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field
  • Proficient in Excel; some experience with QuickBooks preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment

Compensation

  • Salary commensurate with experience; expected range of $60,000 – 80,000, plus a performance-based bonus
