Kootenai Health’s laboratory provides a full range of diagnostic services that support acute, emergency and routine outpatient testing.
About this Position
In this phlebotomist role, you will interact directly with patients to obtain information for laboratory records and explain procedures. You will ensure positive patient identification and label specimens accordingly. You will perform a variety of routine blood drawing procedures using standard equipment and promptly deliver specimens to the lab. May perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED.
Documentation of training from a recognized Phlebotomy school or program OR a minimum of 1 year Phlebotomy or related medical training and experience in a clinical, hospital, or laboratory setting required.
Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
