Job Description
Transpere, LLC, a privately owned company providing services for electronic asset disposition to businesses across the country, located in California, Texas and Ohio, is seeking an experienced Sales Associate to develop new business streams and manage the client – company relationships. The company uses proprietary, state-of-the-art software to manage, track and process their clients’ IT based assets, alongside industry standard data wiping software.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a full understanding of the ITAD sector, including a history of procurement of new inbound streams of electronic assets.


The Candidate

  • A self-starter, driven sales person and a considerate customer service representative
  • Candidate must have established relationships with, IT and Procurement Directors within Enterprise businesses that have 2,000+ computing users
  • Experienced at writing, responding and winning RFP’s
  • Expert at presenting a complex sale and making it look easy
  • Committed to building relationships with business customers looking to safely, securely, and responsibly recycle their retired assets
  • Will have basic knowledge of various hardware product lines and the value of those product lines

The Position

  • Promotes and sells secure data destruction, IT asset disposition services to corporate clients and electronics recycling
  • Makes telephone calls, schedules in-person visits, and delivers presentations to prospective clients
  • Responds to RFPs and structures creative solutions centered-around various corporate technology disposal management strategies
  • Constructs proposals, price quotes, work orders and bridges communication between clients and operations
  • Researches sources for developing prospective customers while managing prospective and existing customers sales activity through the relationship database
  • Cultivates and strives to maintain long-term business relationships
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Works with Senior Management to create short and long term strategies for business development including new services to be developed
  • Will assist in creating and monitoring KPIs
  • Will utilize existing CRM tool or work with Senior Management on the creation of a new system

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience selling ITAD services, IT managed services or hardware solutions
  • A track record of success in inside/outside sales
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of IT related equipment including client, networking, servers and storage

Compensation

  • $70,000-$80,000 + Commission
  • Job Type: Full-time
