General Purpose:

We are a seller of protective gear and accessories used by various U.S. Government agencies. You are an expert in finding, bidding, and winning the award for U.S. Government RFQs/RFPs/Contracts

Compensation for this dynamic sales position is a competitive base salary plus commission

Essential Functions:

– Coordinates/reviews/recommends pricing for all Federal Government bids, RFPs, RFQs, sales proposals, and contract submittals for opportunities within assigned accounts and signs bid documents as appropriate

-Meet Company gross margin goals on individual sales

-Manage fulfillment of awarded contracts per contract deadlines by coordinating lead times and product specifications with vendors, internal logistics personnel, and external receiving personnel

-Consults with Federal Contracting Officers to provide product guidance and product specification development

-Manage product quality by working closely with product suppliers to ensure customer satisfaction

Minimum Requirements:

-Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate/negotiate with Government personnel

-Must possess superb verbal and written communication skills

-2+ years of successful selling experience with U.S. government accounts for all phases of sales cycle

– Willingness and ability to travel as required

-Working knowledge of FARs (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

-Able to work well with others

-Must pass a criminal background check
