InMotion Hosting is looking for a Finance Manager to lead our team in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for our growing company. In this role you will think at both the strategic and implementation level when evaluating and composing company ledgers to make recommendations for specific product lines and general company-wide spending.

This position will interface with multiple department leaders on a regular basis to determine best practices to encourage new business generation and increase success. We’re looking for someone motivated by a drive to succeed and a genuine passion for finance and business. You’ll be able to guide the standard financial processes of a growing company and see the direct impact of your work.


What You’ll Do:

  • Identify and implement key business strategies to increase profitability through working closely with our Chief Administration Officer
  • Partner with product line owners and department leaders regarding general business decisions as well as financial decisions
  • Lead and manage the Finance Team to include hiring, coaching, and professional development
  • Present specific, actionable recommendations that benefit targeted product lines as well as the organization as a whole
  • Develop or identify new tools and processes to drive scalable analysis and insight
  • Proactively identify investment strategies and key market drivers for business generation and profitability
  • Allocate resources to encourage new business generation
  • Collaborate with product line owners to determine financially viable pricing and promotional discounts
  • Maintain internal metrics (e.g. margin percentage, pricing, yield, price/volume, net new orders, backlog, KPIs) and produce standardized reporting to include informative analysis
  • Identify and present imperative facts of legal agreements to leadership

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA preferred
  • Certification in related field (CFA, CFP, CPA, ChFC, FRM) preferred
  • 4-5 years progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analytics (FP&A)
  • Strong decision making abilities in regards to financial and business activities
  • 2+ years experience leading junior team members in a formal or informal leadership role
  • Experience maintaining a general ledger using Quickbooks or other accounting systems
  • Experience analyzing project-based and product-based budgets as they relate to a larger overarching company-wide budget
  • Knowledge of financial metrics and modeling parameters including Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Cash Flow, Line of Business (LOB) Revenue vs Target, and Return on Equity
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet development, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Experience working with and maintaining U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in prior roles
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management
  • Analytical abilities including using SQL or other software for data-mining and reporting
  • The drive to help take a growing company to the next level
