Garrett Book Company, a national wholesaler of library books, is seeking a Sales Representative for Central Florida. Garrett Book Company has been in business for over 60 years and is a well-established national wholesaler of top-quality children’s books. We offer over a large selection of K-12 children’s books from many publishers to the school and library market. We are known for the high quality of our product, our superior customer service, and our high fulfillment rate.
As a Sales Representative, you will work with a customer base of schools and public libraries in your assigned territory, as well as develop and maintain new customers. You will use your education, sales and/or entrepreneurial experience to represent Garrett Book Company in all aspects within the territory. This is an independent contractor position. The position can be full time or part-time, at your choice.
A strong ability to work and relate to customers in the education industry. This includes, but is not limited to, Teachers, Librarians, Curriculum Specialists, Principals, and Reading Program Directors.
You will need:
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to prospect and cold call
- Reliable transportations
- Good people skills
Former educational administrators, teachers, and librarians make excellent sales representatives and are encouraged to apply, even if you do not have any previous sales experience.
