Essential Functions Education & Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree or educational equivalent. 12 years industry experience. Expert understanding of product offerings /services in a geographic area. Expert understanding of customer requirements and market conditions. Expert knowledge of company’s business practices including strategic planning, budgeting and staffing. Advanced sales/operations expertise. Position Summary Oversees the all aspects of Sales Team in specified Region. Develops and implements sales and operations strategies for a specified geographic area while retaining and improving margins through strategic product and pricing efforts, vendor relations and the contract bid process. Responsibilities include employee management and development, inventory management, sales, operations, HSE, quality, training on internal processes and product knowledge, planning and the management / control of the expense budget. Manages the functions and development of sales personnel by establishing forecasting activities and goals. Maintains optimal regional inventory and receivables ratios to maximize inventory turn, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) with a focus on customer service. Assures strategies are consistent with overall objectives for the organization. Prioritizes product opportunities to maximize sales and profits. Handles special projects, as assigned.
