The Hearst Midwest Media Group is looking for a Digital Sales Strategist to be responsible for selling the portfolio of the company’s digital products throughout western Michigan. This person will work in a sales capacity working with current sales team to develop and strategize sophisticated digital medial plans for clients in the region.


  • Collaborate and strategize with Media Account Executives in selling Hearst’s robust digital portfolio.
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions.
  • Create marketing solutions designed to solve customer needs from the portfolio of Hearst Media Services offerings and create persuasive sales presentations using detailing market trends, opportunities and case studies.
  • Prospect and penetrate larger businesses to drive annual revenues and year over year growth.


  • A minimum of five years media sales experience, with a focus on digital marketing.
  • Consultative sales professional who can product in a dynamic, highly visible environment.
  • Consistent top performing digital sales record.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and team environment.
  • Understands and follows digital marketing trends in media.
  • Effectively connects digital content opportunities to client’s needs and initiatives.
  • Results orientated, accountable, strong work ethic, team player.
  • Strong MS Office Skills.
