Summary

We are looking for a high-energy account manager to join our team working with our experienced account managers and independent sales representatives to find and develop additional avenues for growth within established sectors, as well as opportunities for expansion into new markets.

We are an international silicone manufacturer with over 40 years of experience in fabricating, compounding, extruding, molding, and global sourcing for the automotive, industrial, medical, and retail sectors.

Primary Responsibilities

Work directly with experienced account managers and independent sales representatives

Provide professional customer service and correspondence

Participate in projects with sales and engineering teams

Develop effective and profitable sales strategies

Participate in weekly sales meetings

Prospect and develop new business sales relationships

Enter and complete all quote estimates and review with assigned managers

Daily coordination with internal resources and other sales related tasks

Thorough follow-up with leads to determine their needs to provide real, effective product solutions

Ability to apply knowledge of company operations (tool construction, molding and extrusion principles, assembly techniques, etc.) in an effective manner

Qualifications

Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills

Effective problem-solving and presentation abilities

Mathematical proficiency for estimating and quoting

Sales experience with the ability to identify, qualify, and close sales accounts

Customer service oriented

Computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year

Job Duties:

  • Manage multiple accounts, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained
  • Engage with multiple customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty
  • Implement strategies for retaining customers requesting to terminate or downgrade their account
  • Record changes to customer accounts, updating service packages, adding accounts, and removing accounts as needed
  • Other duties as requested
