Position Purpose:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying, qualifying and securing business opportunities in the Wichita area. This position reports to the Director of Business Development.

To be effective and excel in this role:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation and prospect management
  • Client relationship development
  • Creating and maintaining a database of prospective clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Meeting quotas for business development activities

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in a Business or Information Technology curriculum or commensurate experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of business development experience in the Wichita business community
  • Verifiable history of new business development achievements
  • Expert level use of CRM tools
  • Intermediate level use of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Community involvement such as associations, volunteerism, board membership, or advocacy
  • History of personal competitive endeavors such as sports, debate, or military
