Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union
The Prince George’s Community Federal Credit Union is seeking a professional with general accounting or credit union experience and training to provide support to the CFO and other accounting department positions in the areas of processing, reconciling, reporting, compliance and maintenance. This role will primarily be responsible for processing and approving remote check deposits for payment and fraud prevention; but will be backup to the electronic, ACH processing and A/P/R roles; and will take on delegated accounting duties under the direction and supervision of the CFO.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; AA in accounting or college level accounting courses preferred
- Minimum 3 years previous accounting, electronic processing and/or credit union experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel required
- Be able to work proficiently in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities and deadlines; work well independently and as part of a team, prioritizing work and completing assignments on time; possess strong analytical and organizational skills; and be detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
