Dynamic waterproofing and contracting firm has a position open for an experienced construction accountant/bookkeeper to fulfil multiple roles. A background in contract administration, development coordination, title/escrow coordination, bookkeeping or similar position is recommended. Our company is based in South Florida we projects all over Unite States.
The applicant will be well versed in the general contracting industry. Primary Construction Contract Administration responsibilities include handling all aspects of contract administration for the general contracting portion of our business includes tracking bid documents, subcontractor contracts and insurance, vendor contracts, pay requests, lien releases, bank draw submittals and project close-out documentation and bookkeeping including preparation of financial statements.
Secondary responsibilities include acting as executive/personal assistant to the owner and President, overall office management, weekly preparation a of financial analysis reports and miscellaneous administrative work for all projects.
The applicant should have strong organizational and communication skills (especially writing), be a self-starter and have expertise in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, Sage, Viewpoint or Timberline and scheduling software such as MS Project, Planner or PrimaVera a plus. Graphic design experience also a plus. General understanding of office equipment (copiers, scanners, printers, phone systems, networks, etc.) is expected.
Salary range is commensurate with experience.
