Founded in 1933 by Pasadena residents dedicated to women’s health, PPPSGV is not only among the oldest Planned Parenthood affiliates—we’re also one of the fastest growing. Today, we see 60,000 patient visits per year and deliver over 11,000 opportunities for sex and relationship education in our schools and colleges. Our service area includes 24 communities in Northeast Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley, from Glendale to Glendora and from the I-10 freeway to the San Gabriel Mountains. As the area’s most trusted provider of sexual and reproductive health care, we provide a broad range of healthcare services including contraception, cancer screenings, abortion care, STI testing and treatment, HIV prevention medications and transgender care.

Position Summary

Reporting into the CFO, the Accounting Manager is a key part of the Finance team at PPPSGV. The Accounting Manager will manage three full time positions: the junior accountant, accountant and senior accountant. The Accounting Manager is responsible for working with the CFO to ensure the finance department is a best in class finance department across Planned Parenthood affiliates and health care organizations in general. This includes meeting all internal and external reporting deadlines, maintaining compliance with all regulations, providing accurate and timely reporting, managing self and team in a customer service and people driven way and staying on top of all the needs of the department and organization. A successful candidate will have an intense commitment to be extremely organized, be oriented towards supporting people and delivering high customer satisfaction, be able to analyze data and provide thoughtful conclusions and suggestions and be adaptable in the face of change and growth.
