Your job.

Indeed seeks a highly motivated Global Benefits Manager who will be responsible for the support of our global benefit programs. Global programs include wellness, retirement plans, time away programs (outside the US), allowances and perquisites, global medical. In addition, the global benefits manager will liaise with other HR functions and business partners and coordinate global compliance efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides special guidance and assistance to all locations on various employee benefit plans

  • Surveys market to determine company’s competitive position in employee benefits

  • Recommends employee benefit programs by examining employee understanding and interests, costs, regulatory requirements, and competitive advantage

  • Evaluates proposed employee benefit contracts by studying provisions and estimate impact

  • Develops, recommends and installs approved, new or modified plans and employee benefit policies and supervises the administration of existing plans

  • Provides project assistance under the guidance of the global benefits director

  • Maintains global governance for Indeed retirement plans

  • Advise on 401(k) and global pension plans including coordination of plan testing, plan design, and administration, committee reviews

  • Provide support for Workday including, but not limited to researching and resolving benefit related issues, recommending solutions and/or alternate methods to ensure effective benefit operations

  • Partner with finance and accounting to maintain global spend summary

  • Assist with streamlining/administering employee time away and leave processing and partnering with legal and HR Business Partner function as necessary

About you.

Requirements:

  • Good technical skills, including file testing and interfaces

  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Must possess a continuous improvement mindset: identify, recommend and improve current processes

  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently

  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills

  • Strong proficiency and knowledge of Workday HRIS (benefits administration tool)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of benefit plan administration including wellness, leave administration, time away, global pensions and US 401(k) plan support

  • 5+ years experience with benefits administration
